Tracey since joining, as well as gracing our stage, has become an active member of the committee taking on the role of Chair in the group’s committee. A constant source of ideas, she has been a major contributor to the groups continuance including our fundraising and evolution from Churchdown Players to The Curtain Callers.
How long have you been with The Curtain Callers (formerly Churchdown Players)?
I joined for Marilyn Webb’s musical variety production ‘Happy Days are Here Again’ in 2022.
Have you been in any other drama groups?
No
Can you remember the first production you were in and who you played?
It was a musical variety and I appeared in the Eurovision section as a sweet 16 year old Irish contestant Dana singing All kinds of Everything, this is the first time I sang on stage!
What has been your favourite character that you have played?
I played Mrs Barrymore, head housekeeper in Hound of the Baskervilles
Is there a specific production you would love to be in?
I really enjoy musicals, and would love to appear in a Grease production.
Who do you play in ‘Out of Focus’ and can you tell us a little about your character?
I play Brownie pack leader, Helen Beever, Miss. She isn’t the type who suffers fools, or anyone else, gladly!
